Job Summary
Join Severn Trent’s River Protection team for a 4-day work experience placement in Derby (16–23 July 2026 window). You’ll support a live programme by mapping responsibilities using a RACI, capturing team tasks and timelines, and setting up a SharePoint space to store information. You’ll help create a short guide for others to use, collaborate with stakeholders across the business, and assist an improvement process to help the programme run more smoothly. You’ll develop key skills in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving, gain practical project-management exposure, and learn how projects are managed in a professional environment. This placement is part of a research trial and requires consent if under 16; parental consent may be required for eligibility. You’ll leave with real insights into career paths at Severn Trent and practical examples to enhance future interviews or your CV.
