Young Person Network Control, Work Experience Placement - Coventry, 20th-23rd July 2026

Work Experience Placement in Severn Trent’s Network Control at Coventry (20–23 July 2026) for young people aged 14–18. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to monitoring systems, incident response, and real-time data coordination in a professional environment, with guidance from experienced team members. Skills developed include communication, teamwork, creative problem solving, self-management, and confidence in sharing ideas. You'll explore different career paths within Severn Trent, build interview/CV challenges, and form connections with industry professionals. This placement is part of a research trial with Ipsos and the Youth Futures Foundation; applying consent to participate in research activities and, if under 16, parental consent is required. No prior experience is needed—just a positive attitude and willingness to get involved.
