Job Summary
Lead young adults through recovery by leveraging personal lived experience to inspire hope and promote self-determination. Plan and facilitate peer support groups, organize community recovery events, and provide education to help peers achieve personal goals and find their recovery pathways. Deliver direct support while participating in a statewide network of specialists who support one another. Requires a valid Massachusetts driver's license, acceptable driving record, and CORI/SORI background check. Schedule is per diem with a flexible structure up to 20 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Lived experience with sustained recovery
- Experience working with the young adult population, their developmental needs, feelings, physical characteristics, emotional challenges young adults experience in early recovery from SUD
- Knowledge pertaining to available recovery resources in local Massachusetts communities
- Valid MA driver's license with acceptable driving record and current proof of insurance
- Acceptable CORI and SORI background record check as required by program
