Job Summary
Shepherd male young adults through intentional relationships, spiritual care, and discipleship environments like Co-Groups and Rooted. Lead and equip five Co-Group leader teams, facilitating training and rotating monthly to support healthy group dynamics. Coach volunteers and key leaders, guiding them from attendee to volunteer and then to leadership roles while conducting regular development check-ins. Assist in executing Tuesday night gatherings, retreats, conferences, and outreach events, overseeing media team leads and ensuring welcoming, organized ministry environments. Follow up with new young adults to foster meaningful connections within the church.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 2+ years preferred
- A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital, growing personal relationship with Him that meets all qualifications for leadership referenced in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1 (except as a female, married or single)
- Exhibit a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as evidenced by the manifestation of the fruit of the Holy Spirit
- Commitment to personal and active participation in the fulfillment of the Great Commission
- Exhibit a lifestyle appropriate to a person in public Christian ministry by conducting life with the utmost integrity in all situations
- Exemplify the humility of Christ and a loving, servants heart in all facets of leadership
- Consistent attendance and participation in the life of the church and the YA ministries
- Demonstrate a personal passion to minister to people within the context of the local church
- Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and volunteers
- Self-motivated and able to initiate projects, work independently, and troubleshoot
- Possess a high attention to detail
