Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment on mass earthwork/heavy-civil construction projects at KE&G Construction Inc.’s Sierra Vista site as an employee-owner. Requires a minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with heavy machinery (motor grader, loader, excavator, scraper, backhoe, gannon), GPS experience a plus, and a commitment to safety and teamwork within an employee-owned culture. Duties include on-site operation of equipment, maintaining a safe/clean work area, and complying with pre-employment and random drug screenings. The role emphasizes collaboration with fellow employee-owners and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Benefits include ESOP, retirement plans, PTO, health/dental/vision, and more. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mass earthwork operations and/or heavy-civil construction
- GPS experience is a plus
- Operates motor grader, loader, excavator, scraper, backhoe, gannon, and other specialized equipment
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment
- Must pass pre-employment and subsequent random drug screenings
- Able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs
- Strong communication and ability to work in a team with fellow employee-owners
