Job Summary
Oversee nursing care and daily clinical operations for residents in a 96-unit community, including scheduling rounds to evaluate quality and appropriateness of care. Manage administrative accountability for charting, medications, and treatments while directing staff orientation, training, and retention. Develop staffing plans reflecting resident population needs and collaborate with leadership to build relationships with families and care providers. Assess current and potential residents to maintain the facility's ability to deliver appropriate levels of care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees
- Must possess advanced computer skills
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years' management or supervisory experience in long-term or acute care
- Restorative or geriatric nursing experience
