Job Summary
Teach a minimum of two CorePower Yoga classes per week, welcoming students, checking them in, and navigating POS transactions to ensure a memorable experience. Guide students through CPY-aligned classes by educating them on alignment, offering modifications, and consistently using CPY cueing formulas while maintaining a safe space. Arrive 30 minutes before and after each class to read communications, plan aligned sessions, and connect with the student community for personal growth. Perform assigned cleaning tasks to uphold Smart Health Protocol standards and act as an in-studio ambassador for initiatives like All Access Membership and retail programs. Uphold core values by fostering positive working relationships and supporting the studio's overall initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate of completion from a 200-hour yoga teacher training
- Additional 50 hours of continuing education for C1, C2, HPF and Hot Formats or Yoga Sculpt or Fitness Training
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Ability to withstand exposure to heat of a maximum of 104 degrees for a minimum of 60 mins in heated classes
- Must be able to move around the studio space, crouch, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs
- High School diploma
Desired Qualifications
- Certificate from a format related 200-hour yoga teacher training in person/online
- CorePower Yoga Online teacher training
- Completion of 50HR Yoga Sculpt Intensive
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Proficiency in computer applications
