Job Summary
Lead engaging and results-driven group exercise classes for a variety of fitness levels; provide personalized support and modifications; foster an inclusive atmosphere; stay updated with industry trends and best practices in group exercise; CPR/AED certification required with First Aid preferred; instructors teaching licensed formats must be trained and licensed for those formats.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience actively leading successful group exercise classes
- Current nationally accredited group exercise certification (e.g. AFAA, ACE, ACSM, NETA)
- Current CPR/AED certification is mandatory; First Aid certification strongly preferred
- Instructors teaching licensed/branded formats (e.g. Zumba, Yoga) must be trained and licensed to teach those specific formats
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire individuals in a group setting
- Passion for fitness and promoting a healthy lifestyle
