Job Summary
Deliver high-energy, engaging, and safe group exercise classes while providing guidance on proper fitness techniques. Greet participants to create an inclusive environment, instruct on effective workout methods and form, and monitor corrections using positive reinforcement. Prepare equipment, music, and materials for each session, ensuring all exercises adhere to industry safety standards and modifying routines for individual needs. Maintain awareness of class participants and answer questions to enhance the fitness experience. Promote group fitness classes and assist in club-wide activities. Stay updated on fitness trends and perform other related duties as assigned. Current hot yoga openings for Monday and Wednesday mornings at 9:30am.
Required Qualifications
- Strong verbal communication and leadership skills
- Excellent customer service and motivational abilities
- Ability to create a welcoming and energetic class atmosphere
- Professionalism and enthusiasm for health and fitness
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Yoga certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire)
- Current CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire)
- Ability to demonstrate and perform exercise routines for extended periods
Desired Qualifications
- Previous instruction experience preferred
