Job Summary
Teach safe Yoga group exercise classes every Thursday from 11:00 am to 11:45 am at an Aquila health & fitness managed center in Arlington, VA. Supervise group exercise areas while demonstrating proper technique, modifying movements for different levels, and educating members on safe exercise techniques. Implement proper rhythm, tempo, warm-up, and cool-down sequences, and monitor heart rate intensity throughout the session. Adhere to departmental, club, and client policies, and assist in promotions and external events. The role offers a Monday to Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday work, including commuter pre-tax benefits and fitness retailer discounts.
Required Qualifications
- Yoga certification
- Active CPR certification
- Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational
