Job Summary
Keep assigned areas clean and clear for all YMCA participants by performing sweeping, mopping, and general cleaning duties. Monitor and maintain cleanliness in storage rooms, offices, kitchens, and bathrooms while assisting with laundry functions. Respond to accidents, spills, and other housekeeping emergencies as needed. Additionally, assist with set-up for meetings and special events to ensure the facility remains inviting. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, one year of relevant experience, and the ability to operate cleaning equipment. Required Qualifications

- Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of performance
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment (vacuums, buffers, etc.)
- Knowledge of cleaning chemical capabilities, mixing proportions and use
- knowledge in maintenance and care of finished surfaces
