Job Summary
Camp Unit Leaders manage a group of campers while creating positive relationships with children and parents. Responsibilities include promoting youth potential and facilitating peer connections in programs. Candidates must have reliable transportation and will work part-time during the summer travel camp. CPR and First Aid certifications are needed, as well as prior childcare experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age.
- CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and Child Abuse Prevention training within 30 days of hire date.
- Previous experience working with children in camping, recreation, teaching, childcare or physical education is required.
- Resume documenting all childcare experience required.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of crafts, archery, camping, songs/music, skits, sports, aquatics, recreational games.
