Job Summary
Deliver the Ultimate Fitness Experience by instructing Barre, Cycle, and Les Mills classes that exceed member expectations and promote retention. Create a positive atmosphere to motivate participants while teaching safe, effective sessions adhering to industry standards. Promote Y activities and programs to attendees and remain available before and after class. Maintain a flexible schedule across mornings, evenings, and weekends. Requires high school diploma, CPR/AED certification, and nationally recognized group exercise credentials.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years or older
- Able to conduct safe, effective and motivating Group exercise class
- Must display an outgoing personality, enabling him/her to relate well to participants
- Demonstrated interest in working with individuals as well as groups of people
- Current CPR, AED
- Nationally recognized group exercise certification
- other specialty certifications like Spin/Indoor Cycle, Les Mills, Barre
