Job Summary
Lifeguard position supervising swimming activities at the Y’s aquatic facilities, enforcing pool regulations, administering first aid and CPR as needed, evaluating safety conditions, inspecting facilities/equipment, assisting with pool cleaning and water testing, and maintaining safety records; must be 16+, able to swim, and relate well to participants of various ages; preferred lifeguard and CPR/First Aid certifications; flexible schedule with both part-time and full-time shifts; benefits included.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 16 years of age and able to swim
- Possess an outgoing personality with the ability to relate well with participants of various age groups
- Must be attentive, multi-faceted, reliable, and a proven problem solver
- Prefer current lifeguard certification
- Prefer CPR and First Aid certifications
