Job Summary
Oversees all mail operations (collection, sortation, transportation, delivery)based in retail outlets for the designated area; manages safety programs, staff coaching and discipline as needed; coordinates with contractors, municipal officials, and communities; develops budgets and plans, monitors performance, and drives customer service excellence across corporate and dealer locations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or provincial equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a supervisor in mail processing and/or collection and delivery OR minimum 4 years’ experience managing a team within a unionized environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Possess a valid permanent driver’s license (no graduated or temporary license)
- Satisfactory safe driving record per CPC’s Driver Safety Program (a) no more than 2 moving violations in last 3 years; (b) no more than three demerit points in one violation; (c) no license suspension or prohibition in last 3 years)
- Post-secondary degree/diploma (assets)
- Experience managing a team within a retail or service industry environment
- Experience working in a customer service role
