Year-Round Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher

Year-round Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher needed to support Lead Teacher in a nature-based preschool for ages birth to kindergarten entry. Responsibilities include assisting assigned classes, leading and participating in nature-based activities, diapering and potty training, planning age-appropriate learning activities with the teaching team, organizing outdoor and indoor classrooms and learning resources, participating in large group activities and nature explorations, documenting daily progress notes, communicating with parents, and contributing to staff meetings and professional development. Requires maintaining licensing requirements, completing a Michigan background check (including fingerprinting), and current First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain. Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and to support children with diverse backgrounds and learning needs. Experience with children and families and preferred Infant/Toddler or Preschool CDA or willingness to achieve.
