Job Summary
Part-Time Year 5 Class Teacher role in Yate, Bristol (BS2 area) starting September. You will work in partnership with another teacher to plan and deliver high-quality KS2 lessons, differentiating instruction to meet all learners' needs and creating an engaging learning environment. Strong curriculum knowledge, particularly KS2 and SATs understanding, is required, along with effective collaboration with other Class Teachers and Teaching Assistants. The position is with an independent agency that supports placement, compliance, and onboarding processes, including guidance on statutory employment rights and related regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of KS2 Curriculum
- Experience with SATs or strong understanding of KS2 assessments
- Ability to differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs
- Ability to create an engaging learning environment
- Strong communication with Class Teachers and Teaching Assistants
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons
- Experience working in KS2 classroom would be advantageous
- Committed to statutory rights and compliance processes
- Working with agencies and understanding agency workers regulations
