Job Summary
The Certified Teacher is responsible for the academic instruction and program enrichment of a group of 10-20 children in the after-school program, implementing project-learning activities aligned with grant funding requirements. Duties include planning curricular activities, tracking participant progress, ensuring safety procedures are followed, and documenting any incidents. The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a valid Florida Teaching Certificate, along with experience in a childcare or educational setting. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to YMCA's values are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Florida Teaching Certificate
- One to three years experience in a licensed childcare/day camp facility or educational institution

Additional Requirements
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years-old at the time of hire
- Must complete a Level II fingerprinting background screening
