Job Summary
Responsible for day-to-day group academic programming and management of a group of children in a licensed childcare/day camp facility. This role involves academic instruction, planning and supervising activities, conducting progress assessments, ensuring child safety, and maintaining equipment quality. Requires adherence to reporting mandates for child welfare and ensuring compliance with State of Florida and YMCA regulations. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree, a valid Florida Teaching Certificate, and possess experience in educational settings.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or higher
- Valid Florida Teaching Certificate
- One to three years of experience in a licensed childcare/day camp facility or educational institution
- First Aid and CPR certification within 90 days of hire

Additional Requirements
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years-old at the time of hire
- Must pass a thorough Level II fingerprinting background screening
- Must successfully complete a drug test
