Job Summary
Head Coach for YCHS Girls Freshman Soccer responsible for organizing and supervising a comprehensive high school soccer program, mentoring a staff of assistant coaches, and guiding student-athletes in fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training. Duties include implementing athletic policies, coordinating clinics and staff meetings, scheduling, equipment management, and ensuring player development, discipline, and character education while promoting good public relations and collaboration with the athletic director and principals.
Required Qualifications
- Coaching experience in the sport (soccer)
- Ability to organize and supervise a total sports program
- Substantial knowledge of technical aspects of the sport
- Serve as a role model for student athletes
- Knowledge of athletic policies and regulatory requirements
- Ability to train and mentor staff and student athletes
- Willingness to participate in clinics and professional development
- Ability to manage administrative duties related to scheduling, equipment, and transportation
- Commitment to good sportsmanship, character development, and student welfare
- Strong communication with athletic director, principals, staff, and parents
