Job Summary
Lead and supervise in the production area as an interim supervisor, guiding junior operators, ensuring correct raw materials are used, operating equipment, monitoring quality, inventory, and safety, and reporting performance metrics. Provides training and development for team members, reinforces safe forklift operation, participates in Plant Emergency Response Team activities during evenings and weekends, and collaborates with management to achieve production goals while following standard procedures and policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency required
- One year of related experience and/or training
- Must be an effective team member with the ability to lead others toward common goals
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating or maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, decimals, and fractions
