Job Summary
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized depot and yard while loading and unloading freight and deliveries. Assist with goods receival, storage, dispatch, and collecting parts from local suppliers. Support workshop operations, trades personnel, and fleet movements by operating forklifts and other equipment safely. Collaborate across multiple teams to provide general operational support wherever required. Occasional overnight travel to regional locations may be needed. This role reports to the Workshop & Logistics Manager within the Broome Depot team, supporting essential services across remote Kimberley communities.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar yard, logistics or warehouse role
- Current Forklift Licence
- Current MR Driver's Licence
- Physically fit and enjoys hands-on work
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Willingness to undertake occasional overnight travel when required
- Unrestricted Australian working rights
Desired Qualifications
- HR Driver's Licence
- White Card
- First Aid Certificate
- Experience working in a workshop, civil or remote operations environment
