Job Summary
Conduct shipping and receiving duties by processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, and packing shipments. Operate manual or powered equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks to transport product within the warehouse. Receive inbound product to designated locations, pick correct items from stock, and sort parts on racks according to sequence while maintaining housekeeping standards. Comply with established company policies and procedures. This role offers a starting pay of $20/hour with opportunities for growth. Required Qualifications
- Up to 1 year of work related experience
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Basic computer skills
- Basic messages communicated orally
- May write brief messages and keep simple records
- Problems encountered are simple, repetitive, and generally solved by clear directions and procedures
- Follows standard procedures with no decision making involved
- Uses guidance/guidelines provide by supervisor/manager
- Assignments/priorities provided by supervisor/manager
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles that may require getting into awkward positions
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements)
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Warehouse, or similar, work environment, prior PIT (forklift, order picker, etc) experience
