Job Summary
Receive incoming products, count and record receipts, and stock materials in appropriate bins. Operate a forklift with foot and hand controls to build outgoing orders or load completed deliveries. Maintain organized work environments by emptying trash, cleaning bays, and staging areas. Assist inventory control in counting and organizing warehouse materials while monitoring stock levels. Adhere to safety procedures and complete assigned trainings. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to do basic math
- Ability to read orders
- Ability to write instructions and complete forms
- Ability/willingness to learn to read a tape measure
- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with customers, other employees and supervisors using verbal and written skills
- Ability to deal constructively with conflict and recognize potential problems
- Proficiency with or ability to learn current technologies (e.g. Smartphone, Inventory Control Systems, and other necessary business applications)
- Ability to operate a forklift with foot and hand controls
- Ability to operate facility equipment as necessary (e.g. bander, power tools, various hand tools)
