Job Summary
Entry-level Yard/Warehouse Rep responsible for receiving, stocking, shipping, counting inventory, and operating a forklift to stock lumber and building materials. Duties include maintaining an organized work environment, assisting inventory control, unloading and loading, and providing excellent customer service. Requires basic math, ability to read orders and tape measures, and effective communication; forklift operation and adherence to safety procedures are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to do basic math, read orders, write instructions and complete forms.
- Ability/willingness to learn to read a tape measure.
- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with customers, other employees and supervisors using verbal and written skills.
