Job Summary
Receive incoming products, count and record receipt of materials, and stock all items in appropriate bins or storage locations. Operate a forklift safely to build outgoing orders, load completed orders onto delivery equipment, and transport materials between locations after completing required training. Assist inventory control by counting and organizing warehouse materials while maintaining an organized work environment. Perform deliveries, empty trash receptacles, and keep all bays and staging areas clean in accordance with established safety procedures. Monitor inventory as required by location management and complete assigned trainings.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable motor vehicle record
- Ability to do basic math
- Ability to read orders
- Ability to write instructions and complete forms
- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with customers, other employees and supervisors using verbal and written skills
- Ability to deal constructively with conflict and recognize potential problems
- Ability to learn to read a tape measure
- Proficiency with or ability to learn current technologies (e.g. Smartphone, Inventory Control Systems, and other necessary business applications)
- Ability to operate a forklift with foot and hand controls
- Ability to operate facility equipment as necessary (e.g. bander, power tools, various hand tools)
- Ability to monitor inventory
- Ability to operate a company vehicle to transport materials, perform deliveries, transfer inventory between locations, or complete other business-related tasks after completing required training and authorization
