Job Summary
Yard Technician responsible for preparing rental equipment for rent, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining the branch yard. Responsibilities include securing loads for delivery, managing inventory, acting as a liaison between branch departments, maintaining clean and safe yard conditions, and ensuring equipment (forklift, pallet jack, pressure washer) is in good working order. Must be able to multi-task, work independently or in a team, and frequently lift 50+ lbs. Preferably holds a high school degree or equivalent and has forklift experience.
Required Qualifications
- Preferably a high School degree or equivalent
- Preferably at least one year of forklift experience
- Ability to maintain a safe, organized and clean working environment
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to stand, sit, and kneel for long periods
- Able to frequently lift 50+ lbs
- Experience with loading/unloading trucks and preparing equipment for rent
- Experience maintaining tools and equipment including forklift, pallet jack, pressure washer
