Job Summary
Conduct daily shop and yard maintenance, including cleaning, storm drain upkeep, and organizing loose parts, filters, and cables. Service and wash generators as needed while maintaining oil tanks and updating logs. Maintain inventory stock of filters and parts, and operate forklifts to load and unload equipment. Assist mechanics and field technicians as required. Adhere to OSHA safety rules and Power Plus quality standards while managing multiple priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Adhere to OSHA safety rules and use of equipment – hard hats, etc.
- Adhere to Power Plus safety and quality standards when setting and/or picking up equipment
- Must arrive at shop on time ready to work
- Provide quality work product and attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- An ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong team player
- Ability to see tasks through to completion
- Good communication skills required
- Able to use all power and hand tools safely
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to drive forklift and load and unload equipment
