Job Summary
Yard Technician at EquipmentShare in Charleston, SC, responsible for keeping the storage yard in top shape, inspecting and reporting equipment condition, documenting incoming/outgoing equipment, assisting with routine inspections, repairs, maintenance and cleaning, loading/unloading equipment, maintaining inventory systems, and keeping a safe, hazard-free workplace while upholding the company culture and customer experience. This role includes on-call scheduling with additional compensation and overtime after 40 hours, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Safety training
- PPE when applicable
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
- Must be at least 18
- Must be able to be outside during extreme temperatures
- Must be able to stand, sit, bend and stoop
- Drug screen (10 panel)
- Safety sensitive position
