Job Summary
Yard Technician at EquipmentShare responsible for maintaining and inspecting yard equipment, documenting inventory, assisting with routine repairs and cleaning, loading/unloading equipment, and maintaining a safe, organized storage yard at the Tallahassee facility. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment before/after use, recording incoming/outgoing gear, ensuring inventory accuracy, and supporting a high standard of customer experience. Requires safety training/PPE, a valid drivers license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and compliance with drug screening and background checks. This full-time role operates Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM with overtime after 40 hours and potential on-call scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Safety training and PPE when applicable
- Valid drivers license
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Contingent on passing a 10-panel drug screen
- Background check
