Job Summary
Yard Technician at EquipmentShare is responsible for keeping the rental facility's storage yard in top condition and supporting daily operations. Responsibilities include inspecting and reporting equipment condition before and after use, documenting incoming and outgoing equipment, assisting with routine inspections, repairs, maintenance and equipment cleaning, loading and unloading equipment, maintaining equipment inventory systems, keeping the yard and shop clean, upholding a safe and hazard-free workplace, promoting EquipmentShare’s culture and customer experience standards, and performing other duties as assigned by the General Manager. The role requires safety training and PPE, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs, a valid driver’s license, and completion of a 10-panel drug screen as part of the employment process. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with overtime after 40 hours and potential on-call compensation.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Safety training required
- PPE required when applicable
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to be outside during extreme temperatures
- Must be able to stand, sit, bend and stoop
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen
- Must be at least 18 years old to be in EquipmentShare yard
