Job Summary
Yard Technician at EquipmentShare responsible for keeping the storage yard in top shape and supporting the rental facility’s daily operations. Core duties include inspecting and reporting equipment condition before and after use, documenting incoming and outgoing equipment, assisting with routine inspections, repairs, maintenance and cleaning, loading and unloading equipment, maintaining equipment inventory systems, and keeping the yard and shop clean and safe. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to company standards, and contributing to a strong customer experience. The schedule is Monday–Friday with overtime after 40 hours and potential on-call compensation. The position requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and safety/PPE compliance.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Safety training required
- PPE required when applicable
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
- Age 18+
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures
- Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, and load/unload up to 50 lbs
- Background check and drug screening as condition of employment
