Job Summary
Sweep, shovel, and perform general clean-up to keep the yard and plant areas organized. Assist with loading and unloading construction materials from trucks and support plant operations with manual labor wherever needed. Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies, reporting low stock to your supervisor. Execute routine maintenance tasks including pressure washing, organizing supplies, and general upkeep. Follow all safety policies and procedures while wearing personal protective equipment at all times. Take on other duties as assigned to help keep the plant running efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- You have a strong work ethic
- You enjoy physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds
- You're comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather
- You're a team player with good communication skills
- You have reliable transportation to and from the work site
- You're willing to follow safety procedures and company protocols
- You're ready to complete SRM's pre-employment screenings
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a Yard Team Member, Yard Laborer, Yard Worker, or in construction/landscaping is a plus
- You have a basic understanding of construction materials and tools, or you're eager to learn
