Job Summary
Yard Support role focusing on movement of semi-trailers between multiple Johnsonville yards, completion of tractor/trailer washing, and general trailer operations (fueling, temperature checks, etc.). Supports the distribution process to ensure on-time, accurate product delivery and collaborates with internal partners, customers, and vendors to provide a seamless logistics experience. Requires a Class A CDL and a clean driving record, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), strong customer service orientation, effective communication, and teamwork. Includes shift-specific duties (1:00pm–9:30pm or 2:00pm–10:30pm, every other week) with potential overtime; benefits include 401k with company match, medical/dental/vision, FSA, life insurance, paid time off, and fertility/adoption assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL Driver License is required
- Must have an acceptable driving record and be at least 21 or older
- Be able to lift up to 40lbs
- Based on business necessity, must be proficient in English.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment, post offer drug screen, physical, background check, MVR and PSP.
- Experience with MS Office products (Word, Excel and Access) and Outlook
- Desire to satisfy customers by providing Exceptional Customer Service
- Excellent communication/radio communication skills
- Team-oriented
- Accurately maintain all paperwork associated with this position
