Yard Supervisor

Job Summary
Lead the yard operations at Liberty Tire Recycling’s facility, directly supervising hourly production staff and drivers, ensuring safety, environmental compliance, and quality standards in a fast-paced setting. Plan and organize schedules to meet aggressive targets, monitor processes, optimize workflow and equipment utilization, manage budgets and materials for shipments, and collaborate with procurement, logistics, and maintenance. Track performance with site leadership, drive continuous improvements, and maintain a high-performing, safety-focused team with strong Excel and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of leadership experience
- Proven history of strong safety performance
- Experience managing logistics preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting
- General understanding of OSHA regulations
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to foster a collaborative, team-oriented work environment
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
