Job Summary
Experienced Yard Supervisor to lead busy yard operations at Tiverton branch. Oversee day-to-day yard activities, loading/unloading of deliveries, stock management, and shipping & receiving. Ensure a safe, clean, and organized yard; inspect equipment and report maintenance issues; train and support team members; assist with manual handling when required. Requires experience in a builders merchant or warehouse yard, forklift familiarity, strong leadership and communication skills, and good health and safety knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a builders merchant or warehouse yard
- Forklift experience (licence desirable)
- Strong team leadership & communication skills
- Good knowledge of health & safety procedures
- Physically fit (heavy lifting involved)
- Experience with stock systems/WMS (advantage)
