Job Summary
Operations role responsible for moving trucks and trailers in and out of dock doors for loading/unloading; verifies seals and refrigeration unit operation; drops and hooks trailers; ensures loads are secured before moving from dock; coordinates with transportation management to use proper equipment; collaborates with fleet shop for repairs; maintains yard organization; records startup time and reefer set points for pre-cooling; may perform oil/fluids checks, fueling, washing trailers, and lights/tires inspection; requires ability to stand, walk, climb into trailers, and operate in varied conditions; requires valid driver’s license and forklift/pallet jack certification (obtainable after hire) and willingness to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment; emphasizes safety, integrity, and teamwork.
