Job Summary
Hands-on Yard Specialist responsible for material handling, preparation and assembly for manufacturing across multiple areas (including Production Lines, Maintenance, Loading, Kitting, Woodshop, Batch Plant, Glass Division, and Facilities). Performs material receiving, storage, disbursement, and delivery; operates drills, saws, grinders, welding equipment, CNC machines, and other fabrication tools; follows SOPs/JHAs and safety standards; emphasizes professionalism, confidentiality, and teamwork; requires 2+ years in manufacturing/construction, ability to lift 50 lbs, and union environment experience preferred. Full-time union role based in Woodland, CA, with duties spanning safety, quality, documentation, and hands-on manufacturing support.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, concrete, or a related field
- Experience working in a union environment preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Willingness to participate in required training and skill development
