Job Summary
Acknowledge every customer, ascertain their needs, and wow them with quick and efficient service. Ask open questions to build strong relationships and understand current and future requirements. Maintain excellent standards across the yard, counter, and shop floor. Operate machinery safely to carry out key operational activities such as offloading, picking, packing, restocking, and loading vehicles. Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin, and service. Continually develop knowledge of core and specialist product lines. Load and unload vehicles manually and with a forklift, with training provided. Work full-time Monday-Friday 7:30–17:00 and every other Saturday 08:00–12:00. Join a vibrant community of over 600 dedicated builders' merchant branches and distribution centres across the UK.
