Job Summary
Acknowledge every customer, ascertain their needs, and wow them with quick and efficient service. Ask open questions to build strong relationships and understand current and future requirements. Maintain excellent standards across the yard, counter, and shop floor while operating machinery safely. Carry out key operational activities including offloading, picking, packing, restocking, and loading vehicles. Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin, and service as required. Continually develop knowledge of core and specialist product lines. Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift (training will be provided). This full-time role works Monday-Friday 7:30 – 17:00 and every other Saturday from 08:00-12:00. Jewson, part of Stark UK, is one of the UK's largest retailers and distributors of building and construction materials.
