Job Summary
Drive customer vehicles and assist with receiving, labeling, and staging all vehicles into the yard per customer and internal requirements. Report damage on incoming vehicles to the yard lead and flag mis-shipped vehicles for staging based on FIFO chronological order. Maintain yard cleanliness and efficiency while adhering to company policies, OSHA regulations, and Health & Safety procedures. Alert the yard lead of any concerns regarding vehicle processing, safety issues, or yard flow problems. This role operates in a manufacturing environment with exposure to weather, automotive vehicles, and industrial equipment, requiring the ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. A valid US Driver's License and experience in a production environment are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Perform work in a safe manner per the Company Health and Safety Policy and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration
- Alert yard lead of any problems or concerns relating to safety or yard flow issues
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a valid US Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
- Must comply with all Company policies, procedures and work instructions
- Personal Protective Equipment must be worn at all times while on the production floor
