Job Summary
Yard Person CDL A needed at High Concrete in Springboro, OH, on 1st or 2nd shift. Responsibilities include assisting in handling products from production areas to yard storage, loading onto trailers, and moving materials in the yard; operating trucks for storage and loading in the yard (about 10% driving). Requires outdoor work, CDL A, and ability to follow instructions with independence. Shift differential of $3.00/hour for hours between 5pm-5am; overtime after 8 hours. Required Qualifications
- CDL A Required
- One year experience in the pre-cast/pre-stressed concrete industry, preferred
- Ability to work outdoors
- Valid driver’s license required
- Certified equipment operator a plus; travel lift and/or tow motor a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Operate company equipment to move material, load & unload trucks, & other duties as assigned
- Use of hand signals to escort equipment operators for setting, lifting or maneuvering production pieces during loading/unloading process
- Operate electronic hand held scanners for verification of production pieces during storage process
