Job Summary
Load and unload roofing materials and timber, pick and prepare customer orders, and assist customers collecting goods from the yard. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe yard area while following all health and safety procedures. Operate forklift trucks if trained. Work Monday to Friday from 07:00–17:00, with Saturday shifts from 08:00–12:00. A full UK driving licence is required, and a forklift licence is preferred. Required Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence
- Positive, can‐do attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
- Yard or builders' merchant experience (desirable)
- Sales or product knowledge is a bonus
- Hardworking
- Dependable
