Job Summary
Assist customers with yard material; load/unload and stock materials in the lumber yard and in the warehouse. Maintain a safe work environment. Greet customers, direct them to materials purchased, and assist with loading in a safe and productive manner. Coordinate with sales and yard teams to ensure prompt customer service. May pull loads for delivery and bundle safely for delivery on our trucks. Develop knowledge of materials and their uses; learn product differences. Operate forklifts and light trucks upon training and certification. Report unsafe conditions or damage immediately. This is an onsite role at TAL Building Centers in Vancouver, WA; remote work is not available.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 months experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not necessary
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must successfully pass our MVR requirements.
