Job Summary
Yard Operations Associate responsible for the efficient operations of one or multiple yards, including operating heavy equipment, loading/unloading products, and executing standard receiving/shipping processes. Responsibilities include providing spotting duties for equipment operators, rigging and cribbing materials, inspecting equipment daily, receiving and recording shipment data, preparing packages for storage and delivery, and performing related warehouse tasks. Requires attention to detail, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and basic computer skills; forklift experience and warehouse/customer service experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent preferred
- 1 year of warehouse operations experience preferred
- Forklift experience
- Equipment operations, warehouse, and customer service experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders
- Ability to walk long distances throughout the day
