Job Summary
Conduct yard activities including loading, unloading, storing, transferring, distributing, and inventorying stone products and materials. Stage and organize materials while inspecting incoming items and verifying invoices. Perform pre- and post-trip equipment checks, daily inspections, and routine maintenance on the loader. Maintain haul roads, keep stockpiles properly bermed, and ensure correct product blending. Keep and update inventory records and maintain time and production logs. Perform work according to MSHA and safety policies, with cross-training in stacking, saw operations, guillotine operations, and forklift duties. Assist with administrative tasks and provide on-site customer service as needed.
Required Qualifications
- MSHA and H&K Safety policies knowledge
- Experience with loader equipment
- Ability to stage and organize materials in a yard
- Inventory management skills
- Ability to inspect incoming materials and verify invoices
- Ability to inspect machines and equipment
- Ability to perform pre- and post-trip of equipment
- Ability to fill out daily inspection sheets
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on loader such as lubricating and cleaning
- Ability to keep stockpiles properly bermed and maintained
- Ability to ensure product is blended correctly
- Ability to maintain haul roads that are smooth and safe
- Ability to maintain time and production records
- Cross training in stacking
- Cross training in saw operations
- Cross training in guillotine operations
- Cross training in forklift operations
- Ability to assist with administrative duties
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
