Job Summary
Move trailers from door to door and load/unload freight across the terminal dock using mechanical equipment as required. Plan loading to maximize space and minimize damage risk while hooking/unhooking trailers from tractors. Inspect all equipment for defects and safe operating conditions per state/federal laws and AAA Cooper standards. Fuel trucks, tractors, and other company equipment. Clean, sweep, and wash docks, trailers, yards, and work areas. Operate a 10-speed transmission tractor proficiently with backing skills for 28-, 48-, and 53-foot vans. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years or older
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Satisfactory background check
- Proficient in backing 28-foot, 48 foot, and 53-foot vans
