Job Summary
Safety-conscious Yard Helper at Waste Connections in St. Helens, OR. Responsibilities include yard and facility maintenance (debris and oil spot cleanup), pressure washing of carts/portable toilets/equipment/storage areas, picking up and sweeping windblown trash, non-CDL driving to pick up parts and deliveries, various utility tasks, and learning the operations of hauling and the transfer station. Seasonal duties may include supporting portable toilet routes; prior experience in a laborer-type role is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of work experience
- Ability to stand outside for an 8 hour shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and push/pull 100 lbs
- Must pass drug screen, motor vehicle report and pre-employment background check
