Job Summary
Class A CDL driver for UNIS Transportation responsible for local transportation, moving goods between distribution sites located just a few miles apart, with yard switching and 1st shift hours (11:00am - 7:30pm). Must have verifiable Class A experience (minimum 2 years), be able to operate both automatic and manual transmissions, and comply with DOT regulations, safety standards, and testing requirements. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- DOT/Safety driving record
- DOT Medical card
- Meet medical standards of DOT
- No DUI’s or major driving violations
- Satisfactory drug and alcohol test
- Background check
- Knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, vehicle inspection and maintenance
