Job Summary
Spot trailers on and off the yard and in/out dock doors, including potential shuttle runs between locations. Perform pickups and deliveries based on customer requirements while safely and frequently entering and exiting the vehicle and rear cargo area. Report all equipment problems, accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after routes. Maintain physical capability to lift up to 50lbs regularly and 100lbs occasionally while adhering to federal, state, and customer safety regulations. Operate within Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Indiana, and Iowa using modern dry van equipment with collision mitigation systems.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Current Class A CDL from your state of residence
- Minimum six (6) months of relevant tractor-trailer experience
- Acceptable references from past employers
- Meet all applicable DOT qualifications
- Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes moving frequently, standing, walking, and sitting
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg
- Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
